If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly way to connect with the Newport Beach community, don’t miss the 8th Annual Halloween Spooktacular at Mariners Park & VJ Community Center on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This free community event is one of the highlights of the year and features something for everyone — from trunk-or-treating and bounce houses to carnival games, food trucks, pumpkin decorating, and even a haunted walkthrough for those who dare!
The event kicks off at 3:00 p.m. with games, trunk-or-treat, a DJ, music, bounce houses, and more. At 4:45 p.m., the MC and Costume Contest begins, featuring fun categories like Spookiest, Funniest, Best Superhero, Best Duo, Best Family, and Best Dog Costume. The Haunted Walkthrough line closes at 5:45 p.m., and the event wraps up at 6:00 p.m.
Food will be available from local favorites (while supplies last), and parking is limited, so walking or biking is encouraged. Mariners Park is located at 1300 Irvine Avenue, Newport Beach, CA 92660.
